Q: Why do you like working at Starlight?
Every parent of a seriously ill child needs help to restore fun and laughter to their family – they just can’t do it alone. I’m proud to be part of the team working to help these families in need.
Q: What are your goals at Starlight?
I would like to be part of the team that achieves the goal of reaching every single seriously ill child in Australia.
Q: What’s the most rewarding part of your role?
Working with people in the wider community who selflessly give up their time, by raising funds and volunteering, to help make a difference to the lives of people they don’t even know. I’m always amazed by the generosity of others.
Q: What has been the most amazing experience you’ve had so far?
When a parent, who’s had a first-hand experience with Starlight, tells me about the positive impact we made during their toughest times. Those moments are truly amazing.
