Q: Why did you decide to come to Starlight?
I’ve come from a banking background and as you can imagine, it was a little robotic. I was looking for something more exciting, and wanted to work for an organisation that does something worthwhile.
Q: Why do you like working at Starlight?
It’s all about the people, of course!
Q: What are your goals at Starlight?
To do my job to the best of my ability, working towards achieving our goals for Starlight’s programs and the organisation as a whole.
Q: What’s the most rewarding part of your role?
It’s working with Captain Starlights – they are the most amazing people. Seeing the impact that they have on the children and families is just fantastic. They inspire me daily.
Q: What has been the most amazing experience you’ve had so far?
The most amazing experience to date would have to be managing the Captain Starlight program in the Northern Territory, and seeing first-hand the exceptional work that’s been achieved in the NT. It is mind blowing!
