Host a Star Party

The immensely popular Star Party has returned for Starlight Day! All through May, Schools can have a dress up day in return for a gold coin donation, and clubs can host a Star-B-Q to raise vital funds for charity.

Find out how the Starlight team helps, including our super duper Star Party planner!

Hold your own fundraising event

It's so easy for schools and clubs to host a fundraising event for Starlight. Schools can have a casual dress day in return for a gold coin donation, and clubs can turn their regular meetings into a morning tea to help raise money. No matter how large or small, every dollar helps.

  • Volunteer for Starlight Day

We are looking for groups of club members to volunteer their time for Starlight Day on Friday 2 May. Please note that school students volunteering for Starlight will need to be over 16 years of age. We are also looking for club members to help with public speaking on behalf of Starlight!

Find out more about the different volunteering positions at Starlight and apply online.

    Attend an event

Club members might be looking for an athletic challenge, support another club event, or just head to the movies with the group – all while helping raise funds for charity. See what suits your group.

    Become an everyday hero

Starlight Children's Foundation has partnered with Everyday Hero to help you achieve your fundraising targets by gathering support and donations online. In minutes you can build your web page and approach your friends and family for a donation.

“Helping Starlight has been wonderful and humbling …. Setting up at 5am at Martin Place for Starlight Day last year was an experience that the students still talk about, especially the kindness and generosity that people showed towards them as collectors, willingly giving money and not wanting change. We will be there again in 2008…wouldn’t miss it”. - Verena Bukovac, St Andrews Cathedral School
