A huge THANK YOU to all of you who ran in last Sunday’s City to Surf and helped to contribute towards a most fantastic total of $129,000 raised to date. This is an amazing figure and far more than we ever hoped for.
Our two top fundraisers, that will be receiving a special Starlight prize, are Jenn Tejada with a current tally of $5,325 and Anthony Lepre with $3,525. Both of these runners are parents of children that have spent significant time in hospital and have directly benefited from a number of the programs offered by Starlight.

Starlight father Anthony inspires us all
One of our inspirational runners was Anthony. Anthony’s children Paris and Noah suffer from a chronic bowel and digestive condition. They require constant medical treatment and will need hospitalisation in the future. Paris recently had her Starlight Wish granted – “a special cubby house.”
Anthony says, “I have never done the City2Surf before. I think I might run 14kms in a year rather than a day. But I am happy to do it because my children can't.
It's my small way of giving back, because the Starlight Children's Foundation has helped us a lot.”
