Livewire Starlight Teen Programs

Helping teenagers connect

Being a teen is tough. It’s tricky finding your niche, figuring out where you fit, finding others who might be going through the same things you are. Add being seriously ill or disabled on top and life becomes a real challenge.

This is why Starlight developed Livewire, a secure online community connecting 10 to 18 year olds living with serious illness or disability. Livewire is a place where young people can make friends with their peers facing similar challenges.

Starlight’s aim is for every young person living with illness to have access to Livewire, to help address common feelings of isolation and fear.

Livewire offers this and more

  • Chat room and messenger – meet other members and special guests
  • News, reviews, interviews – get the latest on movies, music, celebs and sport
  • Community forums and blogs – join in on or read forums, or start an online diary
  • Comps and activities – there’s games, activities, and cool prizes to win

Visit www.livewire.org.au to find out more about this safe and positive space, including upcoming events, news and how to register for membership. Email info@livewire.org.au or call 1300 727 827.
