About Livewire.org.au
Livewire.org.au is an online community for young people living with a chronic health condition, disability or serious illness, and their families. It is a safe online space where members can connect and share experiences with others who understand.
Livewire.org.au is unlike any other online community:
In August 2011, Livewire formed an exciting new partnership with Starbright World in the U.S.A. (http://www.starbrightworld.org). This partnership gives Livewire.org.au members the advantage of connecting to American and Canadian members in a chat room that is accessible and moderated 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Livewire.org.au members can also:
- Create a blog about themselves and topics they are interested in
- Check out some great games, including two player games
- Connect with other young people who have the same condition
- Read up on the latest news, reviews and interviews
Other features include:
- A music player with the latest music clips
- Groups and private messages
