A helping hand in rural areas
Seriously ill children living in regional and remote areas face enormous challenges such as extended periods away from home for treatment, emotional hardship and isolation for their friends and family.
Our Starlight Express Van program ensures that these children have the opportunity to experience the magic of Captain Starlight throughout the year as the van travels across Australia.
Inside the vans are everything Captain Starlight needs to stage an entertaining show, including a Karaoke singing quest, a magic show, trivia or a face painting competition!
Nine vans reach more than 20,000 sick children in outer metropolitan and regional Australia.
