Star Parties raise spirits and funds
A Star Party is a great way to get together with your colleagues and lift team spirit whilst raising vital funds for seriously ill children.
The ways to get involved are endless - auction off Star staff members skills, celebrate Star achievers at a morning tea, ask the CEO to cook lunch at a Star-BQ, turn staff drinks into a Superstar party, hold a raffle or ask your team to donate a day's pay.
Not only will you be giving back to the community, it's a great way to encourage the office to support the Starlight Children's Foundation! Everyone benefits from a Star Party, and you'll bring magic into the lives of sick Starlight children and their families.

Star Party Inspiration
- Bid upon a Star. Host an auction at work and put the fun back into fundraising! You'll be surprised what covetable items and memorabilia can be unearthed by asking your business contacts to pitch in this Starlight Day.
- It's tea time! Ask your work colleagues to bring a plate to a Starlight morning or afternoon tea, and charge attendees an entry fee.
- Drinks for Starlight Hour. Arrange a function after work where your company subsidises alcohol and nibbles. Charge all attendees an entry fee and a nominal amount for each drink.
- Don't be Late! Why not charge a friendly $5 penalty for anyone who arrives at a meeting more than five minutes after it was due to start?
- Bright Sparks Trivia. Organise a trivia night for the team and prove who really is the smartest shining star!
Tips for success
- Give plenty of notice. We provide invites to send in advance.
- Where you can, ask for goods and services to be donated. Businesses love to support their local community.
- The more the merrier - form a reliable team of people to help.
- Purchase Starlight merchandise to sell at the party.
- Don't forget the most important thing -¦ have lots of fun!
