Bring joy to Starlight children
Are you at school, university, or a member of a club? This May, you can have some fun and raise money for the Starlight charity, bringing happiness to sick children across Australia.
It’s fun and easy to mark Starlight Day in May with your fellow students and club members! Turn your regular group get-together in May – a book club gathering, mothers meeting, bowling day, school picnic, Scouts camping trip – into a fundraising Star Party.
Star Parties can be as simple as a casual dress day at school or an all-day BBQ in the university main quad. Or, you might like to put your imagination to work and arrange a dinner party, a fete, or a fun day of barefoot bowls. The vital funds you raise for the Starlight Children's Foundation will bring happiness to children living with a life-threatening illness.
Tips for a successful Star Party
- Give plenty of notice. We provide invites to send in advance
- Where you can, ask for goods and services to be donated
- The more the merrier - form a reliable team of people to help
- Purchase Starlight merchandise to sell at the party
- Have lots of fun!
