Movies by Burswood is a seasonal outdoor cinema run by a group of dedicated volunteers and supporters, with 100% of profits going to charities seeking to improve the quality of life of children in a health or physical ability crisis. Starlight is one of the recipient charities.
This year marks the fourth season of the partnership between the Starlight Children’s Foundation and Movies by Burswood. During this time Movies by Burswood have raised significant funds for Starlight!
The funds raised to date by Movies By Burswood have been distributed amongst a number of programs, particularly in providing three Starlight Fun Centres located in the Albany Regional Hospital, St John of God Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital for Children. Funding received from Movies by Burswood has also supported the continued operation of our Starlight Express Room at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children in Perth, Starlight Escapes and the Starlight Wish Granting program.
