20-year-old Kaitlyn is a super fan of the Australian reality TV show 'Bondi Rescue.' During her time in hospital, watching Bondi Rescue was there to help Kaitlyn escape from the stress and anxiety of treatment. So when Kaitlyn found out she was receiving a Starlight Wish, she knew exactly what she wanted! Kaitlyn wished to meet the stars of the show, especially Australian lifeguard Bruce Hopkins, affectionately known as Hoppo!
On her Starlight Wish, Kaitlyn was treated to an exclusive Bondi Rescue experience including a tour of the lifeguard tower, riding on a beach buggy and enjoyed lunch at the amazing Surfside Bondi Seafood Café with the cast.
Kaitlyn’s mum, Jackie, told Starlight how much her Starlight Wish meant to her daughter and that Kaitlyn will never forget this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
