You made Marley's wish for a cubby come true!

A happy and social five-year-old, Marley loves to play with his friends.

Sadly, Marley was born premature - at just 24 weeks. Since then, he has spent a lot of time in hospital with chronic lung disease and other health complications.

Marley requires home oxygen. Fun adventures like playing with his friends at the local park can put him at risk, so he often misses out.

Thanks to supporters like you, Marley was granted a Starlight Wish. He now has an epic place to play with his own backyard cubby house.

Starlight installed his cubby while he was at the doctors, complete with a play kitchen, coffee machine and seating area.

Marley returned home to a surprise celebrity welcome from Captain Starlight and Channel 7’s Sunrise team.

“Since the cubby reveal, Marley has wanted to play in it every day from the moment he wakes up. It’s given him a place to experience playing outside safely," said Kellie.

Thanks to you, Marley can experience the fun of being a kid!

Sophie celebrated a special graduation, because of you!

Sophie was missing out on her high school graduation because she was stuck in hospital.

But thanks to you, Captain Starlight and Livewire were there to make sure she didn’t miss out.

They gathered children and teens from the Starlight Express Room to surprise Sophie with her own special graduation.

Sophie had the biggest smile on her face as she arrived for her personal ceremony and received her graduation certificate.

Often seriously ill teenagers miss out on school and social activities. But because of your support, Sophie had a day she’ll never forget!

You're taking the sting out of vaccines

For a lot of kids, getting a vaccine is scary. Especially for children with Autism.

But thanks to you, Captain Starlight has visited hubs around the country including a special visit to the Autism Spectrum Vaccination Clinic in Queensland.

Captain Starlight has been helping kids feel safe and calm while getting the vaccine as well as celebrating their bravery afterwards.

There’s been lots of singing and joke-telling to turn a normally scary experience into a happy time.

One happy parent said, “Thank you so much for supporting Luke last Monday. Captain Starlight made him feel at ease and confident and helped him just the way he needed.”
