Starlight child Eadweard, 15, is the oldest of five siblings in a close family who enjoy spending time together.
With the complexities of Eadweard’s medical needs, it’s often difficult to make plans with the entire family. With your support however, our Starlight Moments program steps in to create joyful and meaningful experiences for families like Eadweard’s, with a child in palliative care.
Mum Sarah says the arrival of their “Picnic Under the Stars” package is their favourite Starlight Moment to date!
Made possible only by your kindness, this pack included a beautiful picnic blanket, a gift card to their closest grocer, a Bluetooth speaker (with a specially curated playlist!), playing cards and card game booklet. The fairy lights included, and a star projector really helped to set the mood.
Thanks to you, Eadweard and his family will cherish memories of their special family picnic forever.
