Just after his second birthday, Teddy was diagnosed with leukaemia. He spent 15 months in hospital, often in isolation, undergoing intense treatment.
Thanks to generous supporters like you, Captain Starlight was there, bringing music, games and fun that made Teddy smile, even on his toughest days.
His mum Anna shared:

From October 20–23, online donations, made via Starlight.org.au, to Starlight’s Spring Appeal will be matched dollar-for-dollar, thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor who has pledged up to $50,000 to match donations during this period. That means double the joy for kids like Teddy.
This matched giving opportunity will end at 9am AET on October 23, or once the matching funds are fully used - whichever comes first.
Your donation will be matched one-to-one, up to the pledged amount. If matching funds are exhausted before the end of the campaign, we’ll update this page to let you know.
