Matched Giving Disclosure Statement
Campaign Purpose
This matched giving initiative is part of the Starlight Shining Stars Digital Acquisition Campaign, raising funds to support Starlight’s hospital programs.
Matching Amount and Source
Matched donations have been secured in writing and agreed to be utilised for this campaign by:
A generous anonymous donor They have pledged a total of $6000 in matched giving funds.
Matching Ratio
All eligible donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar (1:1) until the full $6000 is exhausted.
Eligibility Criteria
Donations must be made via individual, or organisation via the Starlight.org.au
Donations made via Facebook or Instagram or third-party fundraising pages are not eligible for matching.
Participants aged 18+ will be notified of match start and exhaustion via email and updates will be posted on our website.
Campaign Timing
Start: 5pm AET, Tuesday 11th December 2025 - 5pm AET, Monday 15th December 2025
End: When the $6000 matching pool is fully exhausted
Multiple Matches
Participants may receive multiple matched donations if they receive multiple eligible donations during the match period.
Use of Funds
All funds raised—including matched donations—will be used to support Starlight’s Wishgranting programs
Handling of Excess Donations
Donations received after the matching funds are exhausted will still support Starlight’s programs but will not be matched.
Donor Consent
Matching donor/s have provided written consent for their contributions to be used in this matched giving campaign. They have requested to remain anonymous and not to be publicly identified.
