Spotlight helps make dreams come true for sick kids
Throughout May, Spotlight and their customers came together and raised a record-breaking $659,573 for Starlight to help bring lasting happiness to sick kids.
As our official Creativity Partner, Spotlight helps power fun, creativity and imagination for sick kids and we are so thankful to the Spotlight community for their incredible support.
Spotlight’s national “Make dreams come true” campaign this year raised enough funds to help grant 88 life-changing wishes bringing hope and happiness when sick kids need it most.

This year, Spotlight was also one of the major Matched Giving Partners for Starlight Day, which saw up to $150,000 of total funds raised going towards the Starlight Day Appeal to match donations.
Starlight Day is our biggest national fundraising campaign and is only made possible thanks to the commitment and generosity of our partners and supporters.
The campaign saw another first this year with Spotlight partnering with Crayola and Faber-Castell, who contributed 50 cents from select products directly to support the campaign.
Funds raised by the Spotlight community help seriously ill children like six-year-old Lexi, who faced unimaginable challenges when she was diagnosed with a cancerous Wilms tumour. During an incredibly difficult time, Starlight created moments of joy and happiness helping Lexi cope with the pain and fear of hospital.
We are so thankful to the entire Spotlight team for this record-breaking result which reflects our shared commitment to helping create lasting happiness for seriously ill children across the country.
