"It felt like we'd been hit by a bus. I could hear what the doctors were telling me, but it couldn't sink in. Our other kids just wanted to know their little sister wasn't going to die."
This was the moment mum Alison was told that her four-year-old daughter Madilyn, had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.
The youngest of four, Madilyn is a bubbly, switched-on kid who loves horses and riding her bike. But instead of playing outside, suddenly she was in the scary, unfamiliar world of hospital enduring gruelling rounds of treatment.

After so much pain and sadness, Madilyn was granted her Starlight Wish. Her wish was to meet her all-time favourite superhero Wonder Woman!
While her visit to Movie World on the Gold Coast was temporarily on hold due to travel restrictions, your support gave her a special 'superhero' Wish Sparkle to keep her positive while she waited.
With travel restrictions eased, Madilyn's Starlight Wish has come true and she met her superhero idol!

Madilyn and her family meeting Wonder Woman
Madilyn and her family enjoyed an unforgettable holiday together with memories to treasure forever.
"Thank you for making this dream come true for my daughter. The look on Madilyn's face when Wonder Woman walked through the door was priceless. She had an absolutely wonderful day and her wish is something she will remember forever," Madilyn's mum said.
