This November over 44,600 kids will be admitted to hospital in Australia. For many of these kids, the joy of childhood gets replaced with scans, surgeries and sterile hospital wards with long, isolating periods of time away from home.
At Starlight, we know happiness makes a difference especially for sick kids. That’s why every major children’s hospital in Australia has a Starlight Express Room, where Captain Starlight brings fun, laughter, and a much-needed break from hospital life.
These spaces let kids be kids again, even in the toughest times. But none of this is possible without the support of our regular givers.
