General Information
Individuals and companies can donate Gift Cards and Gift Vouchers that are redeemable from an Australian Merchant to Starlight Children’s Foundation by registering your details online at Starlight.org.au and sending us the Gift Vouchers via email or in the post.
We can only accept Gift Cards and Gift Vouchers valued in Australian dollars. All Gift Cards and Gift Vouchers need to have a minimum of 3 months period before they expire.
A Gift Card or a Gift Voucher is a non-cash payment facility that can be used to redeem goods and services with a business (Merchant) in-store or online in accordance with a Merchants Gift Card terms of use. Individuals and companies donating the Gift Cards/Gift Vouchers to Starlight Children's Foundation must warrant that:
you are the sole lawful owner of the Gift Card / Gift Voucher, and that the Gift Card / Gift Voucher was obtained in a lawful manner;
any personal information you provide us with is not false or misleading;
you are an Australia resident;
the donation is made by a person aged 18 and over, unless you have the permission of a parent or guardian;
the Gift Card/Gift Voucher is valid and genuine;
the Gift Card/Gift Voucher is redeemable for the amount you specified to us;
you will not in any way attempt to redeem the Gift Card/Gift Voucher after you donated them to us;
you understand that the full value of the Gift Card/Gift Voucher may or may not be redeemed by Starlight Children’s Foundation, but in any case it will not be returned to you
the Gift Card/Gift voucher is not subject to any liens, obligations, restrictions or encumbrances of a third party, except as specified in the Merchants Gift Card terms of use;
you will comply with all requirements to complete the donation of the Gift Card / Gift Voucher, including any postage instructions or procedures required by us.
