Thanks to your support and our friends at Spotlight, 5,000 sick kids received a surprise parcel of fun from Captain Starlight! These craft-filled activity packs were sent to kids in hospitals across the country helping them cope with the loneliness of isolation.
When 8-year-old Nia received her surprise pack, she was so excited! Nia loves doing craft and this pack brought her hours of fun and a much-needed boost of happiness while in isolation.
"Thank you Captain Starlight! I love craft so much and creating things with my imagination," Nia said.
You also helped Captain Starlight send packs of fun and games to kids at remote health clinics in the NT as part of our Healthier Futures Initiative.
While our Captain Starlights aren't able to travel as far and wide as usual at the moment, your support means sick kids aren't missing out on the fun they need. These special Starlight packs help keep kids entertained while they wait for their appointments.
Our Captains can't wait to blast back down to the clinics and visit the kids and their families soon.
