Volunteer & make a difference
Volunteering with children in hospital is a rewarding way to make a difference. When you volunteer with children as a Starlight Express Room Volunteer, you’re part of a team of like-minded people committed to helping Captain Starlight bring happiness to hospitalised children and their families.
Another great option is to join our team as a Livewire Volunteer. In this role you’ll use your creative skills to help hospitalised teens get creative, connect with each other and build confidence.
These two volunteer roles have regular shifts and you’ll be given training and support, plus it’s a whole lot of fun!
“I have always found it tricky to articulate the magic that is Starlight…. I still cannot explain it, however the simplicity of bringing a smile when it is truly most needed is the most unbelievable feeling. Additionally, being surrounded by the most wonderful, talented and kind-hearted Captain Starlights, vollies and Starlightians is a gift in every way.”- Erin
Annie found a way to give back using her creative skills.
