Starlight Ambassador since 2014

"Starlight creates such a positive and happy atmosphere for sick kids in hospital. Even if it's just for a moment, kids get to escape the pain and sadness and just be kids. To me, that deserves as much help and support as possible." - Libby Trickett OAM

In her role as a Starlight Ambassador, Libby brings her passion for brightening the lives of others, coupled with her signature positivity, enthusiasm and energy.

In 2015 Libby helped to officially open the new Brisbane Starlight Express Room and is a frequent visitor helping to bring joy to sick kids and their families facing the darkest times in hospital.

She says it's so important that seriously ill children get the chance to be kids.

"All kids deserve fun and that’s exactly what Starlight provides. I've seen first-hand the difference it makes to a child's mood when they get to laugh and play games with Captain Starlight."
