Eden's story

Eden is a happy, active little toddler who loves playing with his toy police cars and trucks!

But tragically, when Eden was diagnosed with leukaemia, he was suddenly in the scary world of hospital.

Eden's treatment left him in pain and often too unwell to leave his hospital bed.

"It was really hard seeing him in hospital for months on end, constantly being poked and prodded," his mum Sarah said.

After so much pain and sadness, Eden was granted his Starlight Wish.

It was the happiness the family needed to get through such a traumatic time.

Eden's wish was to meet all his local emergency services heroes and see inside a real police car and fire engine!

Sarah said in the lead up to his wish, they were all so excited. When Eden's big day arrived, he couldn't stop smiling and he loved playing with all the sirens and chatting on the walkie-talkies.

The memories from Eden's wish will stay with the family forever.

"We will always look back on Eden's wish and remember how happy he was. A massive thank you to Starlight supporters who helped make this happen for us."
