In May 2026, Muffin Break partnered with Starlight Children’s Foundation to help bring joy, laughter and positive distraction to seriously ill children and their families in hospitals across Australia.
Throughout the month, customers were invited to support Starlight by purchasing a specially created Starlight Muffin, with $1 from every muffin sold donated to Starlight, or by making a $2 in‑store donation. Together, Muffin Break, its customers and teams across the country came together to make a meaningful difference for children facing serious illness.
Every muffin made a difference
Funds raised are helping support Starlight’s essential hospital programs, bringing play, entertainment and positive distraction to children during some of the most challenging times in hospital.
These programs help children feel happier and better able to cope with treatment and hospital stays, with Muffin Break’s support helping reach even more children and families nationwide.
With more than 180 locally owned cafés across Australia, the partnership showed the power of community support and how small, everyday actions can come together for a bigger impact.

The partnership coincided with Starlight’s annual appeal and Starlight Day, helping ensure Starlight can continue supporting seriously ill children and their families when they need it most.
