And it's thanks to the generous support of Network Plumbing, that Starlight can brighten the lives of seriously ill children.
Our partnership began in 2014 when business owners Scott and Vicky Irwin attended a Starlight Five Chefs Dinner. Inspired by the stories of Starlight’s impact on sick kids, they were motivated to find out more about how they could help.
"Having two young children of our own, we put ourselves in the shoes of other families and knew that we had to help in any way we could," Scott and Vicky said.
Since then, the team at Network Plumbing has thrown their support behind the partnership.
The two organisations share a positive workplace culture, a commitment to helping others and always striving for the best.
As Network Plumbing's business has expanded throughout Sydney, more and more trucks carry the Starlight branding. The partnership plays a vital role helping to increase awareness of Starlight's hospital and wishgranting programs.
Being a family-owned business supporting the local community, the team feels a strong alignment to Starlight's mission.
"When you hear about impact of Starlight Wishes or the amazing time kids have in the Starlight Express Room, you instantly feel a connection. Everyone knows someone who has a child that has been sick in hospital," Scott and Vicky said.
