Rollie Nation's philosophy to 'Spark Magic' is an ideal fit with Starlight! Launched in Melbourne in 2012, Rollie Nation designs innovative shoes that are stylish, comfortable and endlessly versatile.
The partnership began with Rollie designing a custom shoe for Captain Starlight.
Founder Vince Lebon said, "We jumped at the opportunity to create shoes for Starlight. We make fun and super comfy shoes and love the idea that we're helping the Starlight team to keep a spring in their step as they go about brightening the lives of sick kids."
The collaboration began back in 2019 and resulted in the launch of the shoes in May 2021.
After road testing some concepts, the team at Rollie created a customised style that was best suited to the needs of the Captains who work in a variety of areas - from hospital environments to remote communities.
"It’s exciting to think that we can play a small part by keeping Captain Starlights light on their feet as they travel across the country bringing fun and laughter to sick kids and their families," Vince said. The new shoes have quickly become an iconic and much-loved part of Captain Starlight's uniform and we are so thankful for the enthusiasm and support from the whole Rollie team!
