You helped Maton on his toughest days in hospital
When eight-year-old Maton was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, hospital became his second home. It was heartbreaking for mum Nancy to see her independent, inquisitive and funny boy so terribly sick.
Maton wasn't allowed to bath, he had his fluids restricted and was being tube fed. He missed having fun and playing with his friends.
"His illness affected him deeply and he was feeling really down," Nancy said.
Thankfully during Maton's toughest days in hospital, your support meant Starlight was there with the happiness he needed.
Maton loved going to the Starlight Express Room to have fun with Captain Starlight, play video games and do arts and crafts. He also looked forward to Captain Starlight's visits to the ward which helped him cope with his long days isolated in his hospital bed.
Nancy said joy and laughter are vital to help kids deal with the stress and sadness of hospital.

Elsie's wonder-ful wish thanks to you!
At just nine months old, baby Elsie was diagnosed with leukaemia. She spent her 1st birthday in hospital having chemotherapy before ultimately undergoing Bone Marrow Transplant surgery.
After so much pain and heartache, Elsie wished for a fun family holiday and thanks to your support, her Starlight Wish came true.
When restrictions were lifted earlier this year, Elsie and her family had an unforgettable holiday to the Gold Coast complete with beach trips, merry-go-rounds, a special birthday surprise and even meeting Wonder Woman!
