However, Alice spent months in hospital enduring treatments which left her scared and unwell. Ultimately, Alice needed surgery to remove her right eye.
“We had to sacrifice Alice’s vision to save her life,” mum Sian said. Captain Starlight was there to bring Alice the joy and happiness that hospital and treatment had taken away.
